The Teens for Tzedek Summer Experience is an amazing intercultural exchange that

connects Boston and Haifa teens through community service, social justice workshops, Jewish living, touring, and fun in Israel and Boston. With Teens for Tzedek, you can make friends for a lifetime and change the world! For teens entering grades 10-12.

Summer Work Opportunities

JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood
An overnight camp in Bridgton, Maine offers a fun-filled, Jewish cultural experience for kids entering grades 2-10. In our popular CIT program for kids going into 11th grade, you will learn leadership skills and how to be a good counselor while having the time of your life! Move on to be a Junior Counselor and Counselor and get paid to have fun. For more information, contact the camp office at (617) 244-5124.

JCC Jacob & Rose Grossman Camp
Grossman Camp is the summer home for year long friends. A day camp located in 

Westwood, Grossman Camp offers a variety of land and water activities for kids ages 4 ½ to 15. Kids entering 8th and 9th grades stay overnight a few nights a week and cook their own meals. There is a CIT program for kids going into 10th grade where you spend time as a camper and a counselor in training. As a Junior Counselor, you could have the opportunity to spend two weeks in Israel over the summer. After two years as a Junior Counselor, move on 

to be a Senior Counselor or a specialist.

KaLeIdOsCoPe Creative Arts and Science Program
Be An Artist! Explore your imagination and artistic skills with artists-in-residence and specialists in a stimulating and enriching environment. Venture into the scientific arena with area inventors, through demonstrations and workshops. Teens will enjoy state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facilities, including stage, darkrooms, dance and art studios, as well as the recreation facilities of the JCC. Four and eight week opportunities for grades 7-8. CIT opportunities available for those in grades 9-12. For more information call Silka Rothschild, Kaliedoscope Director at (617) 558-6488.

StudioArts
This in-depth visual arts exploration for high school students only explores a variety of art media. Small classes will meet with professional artists and artisans for demonstrations and guidance in our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned studios. Sculpture, pottery, charcoal, canvas (portrait, landscape, and still-life), photography and silverworks are among the many offerings.
