Meet the TJCC Staff Robyn Avellino, Youth Social Justice Coordinator After an upbringing that involved attending Soloman Schechter day school, being very involved in my youth group, traveling numerous times to Israel, and going on to be a counselor for 4 years at Camp Ramah in Palmer, Massachusetts, the natural step after college was to see how I could get involved in a program that would tie together my love for Judaism and my passion for Social Justice. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into Avodah: The Jewish Service Corps in NYC. There I learned even more about my pursuits and what motivated them. I am now excited to be practicing social justice in a different capacity by working as the Youth Social Justice Coordinator for the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston.Robyn graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BS in Psychology and Legal Studies.
