Meet the TJCC Staff

Daniel Sherman

Daniel, our new Regional Youth Director has worked extensively in the areas of urban education, juvenile justice and cross-cultural programming. He has worked for the National Conference for Community and Justice (formerly the National Conference of Christians and Jews), Youth Voice Collaborative of the YWCA Boston and BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life). Daniel is a graduate of The George Washington University, a past volunteer with Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Boston and a member of the Boston Synagogue.  Daniel is responsible for providing the vision, direction and oversight for teen services delivered agency-wide by the JCC.                                                                                             You can contact Daniel at dsherman@jccgb.org

Rachel Hall

Rachel, our new full time Teens for Tzedek Program Manager, is a graduate of Clark University and holds a Masters from Simmons College.  Rachel has been involved in multicultural Jewish Education as a teacher at Hillel B'nai Torah, Congregation Beth Elohim in Acton, and Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in Newton.  Rachel will be coordinating our Teens for Tzedek Youth Literacy Corps and Teens for Tzedek Summer Israel Experience as well as year round social action initiatives.

David Dossick

David, our new full time Maccabi Program Coordinator, is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelors Degree in History and a Minor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. David  recently moved to Boston from Philadelphia where he was heavily involved in the Jewish Community and the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization for many years.  David will be leading our JCC Maccabi Games delegation and will be planning year around Maccabi events and programs.
