Rimonim -an exploration of Jewish art An exciting offering for high school students featuring an in-depth exploration of the arts through a variety of medias, and with a Judaic perspective. Through presentations, workshops, and open studio time young artists will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art studios under the direction of professional artists. This flexible, multi-semester program will offer participants the potential to earn an art certificate as well as to develop a portfolio suitable for college admissions. Student exhibitions, apprenticeships, site visits, and other opportunities will round out this unique experience. Meets Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm
Grades: 9-12 (8th with permission)
Semester 1 began October 2
Semester 2 begins January 29
Cost $300 per semester ($275 for JCC members) Includes all supplies.
